A full-ride university scholarship changes everything
Through sponsorship, Young Life's Developing Global Leaders (DGL) Program offers Young Life leaders in the world's poorest developing countries a pathway to a future they never thought possible – the opportunity to attend university in their own country and impact their community with the Gospel.
$250 per month is all it takes
SPONSORS make it happen
Young Life's Developing Global Leaders (DGL) program is fueled by generous sponsors who understand the value and power of education to change lives.
With the modest cost of university tuition in the developing world, a full DGL sponsorship of $250/month delivers high impact for every dollar invested. Sponsors are able to open doors for DGL students to attend university and stay actively engaged in local Young Life ministry. For many, this is a life-changing opportunity that helps end the cycle of poverty in their family.
Sponsors include individuals, families, churches, small groups, YL areas, private businesses and foundations committed to producing college-educated, Jesus-loving young professionals – future leaders who will drive innovation, economic growth, and spiritual impact in their own nations.
"After losing my father to ebola, my sister and I had to drop out of high school to support our family. Without the DGL Scholarship, my family wouldn’t be able to afford my university tuition. Today, I attend university and serve as a Team Leader in Young Life – all thanks to my DGL Sponsor."
